A fairy
I woke up to a fabulous news
From afar
Our granddaughter was born
While we were sleeping
I broke into tears
Of joy of course
The photo of her
Simply sweetens me
Her little face
Her little hands
And she sleeps so peacefully
I wish I could be there
To hold her
To sing to her
To feel her
She is one of the best gifts
My daughter and son-in-law
Have given me
When this crisis is over
We will be together
Another wonderful thing
To happen after the Covid-19
