Arrived at our destination
Sunday afternoon
French time
The flight was long
But, it didn’t diminish
Our enthusiasm
In the reunion
Bonding with our grandchildren
Began at once
I feel so at home
Even miles away from home
All the stress, anxiety
I’ve had had
In making this trip
Is lost in
The warmth of the reunion!
